I used the Stampin’ Up! Match Day stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a panel of A Wonderful Match DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a panel of Basic White card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and then tied a small bow.

I stamped the soccer ball image from the Match Day stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the jersey, #1 and sentiment images from the Match Day stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the jersey with Light and Dark Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the jersey and ball out with the coordinating Match Day Dies (Online Exclusive item).

I cut the sentiment out with the Forever Florals Dies (Online Exclusive item, restocking around May 18) and then adhered the ball with Mini Glue Dots and the jersey and sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added three stars from the Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

I stamped the jersey from the Match Day stamp set in Balmy Blue, the ball and net in Tuxedo Black inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
