I used the cute Sweet Words & Labels stamp set bundle from the upcoming May 5 Online Exclusives from Stampin’ Up! to create a quick card to share with you today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP783.
My card was also inspired by the CAS On Friday Challenge #333.
I started by embossing a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item available May 5). I adhered the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. Then I adhered a strip of patterned paper from the Silly Old Bear DSP (Online Exclusive item available May 5) to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Words & Labels stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut one of the images from the Silly Old Bear DSP with the coordinating Sweet Old Friends Dies (Online Exclusive item available May 5) and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered two Early Espresso dots from the Earthy Matte Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the image from the Sweet Old Friends stamp set in Early Espresso ink and then colored the image with Light and Dark Golden Glow, Barely Blush (both available May 5) and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
