I used the Stampin’ Up! Oh My Fright stamp set and the Spooktacular Designer Series Paper from the upcoming July 1 Online Exclusives to create a fun set of Halloween cards to share with you today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create one of these cards on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by trimming 1″ from the edge of the card bases. Then I cut the panels of patterned paper from the Spooktacular DSP (Online Exclusive item available July 1) to 2-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel around the faces. I adhered the trimmed down panel to a Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green panels of card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panels to the card fronts.
I stamped the sentiment from the Oh My Fright stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in VersaMark ink on panels of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled them with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed them. I cut the images out with one of the Perennial Postage Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card fronts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the web image from the Oh My Fright stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then adhered the panel inside the card base with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a panel of Spooktacular DSP to the right side of the card base with Stampin’ Seal to finish the insides.
This card base is Granny Apple Green and the layer is Basic Black card stock.
This card base is Basic Black and the layer is Pumpkin Pie card stock.
This card base is Basic Black and the layer is Granny Apple Green card stock.
I can’t decide which one I like better!!
