I used the Stampin’ Up! Exciting Times stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here are the colors that we’re all using today:
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Painted Patch DSP to the front of a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered three panels of Painted Patch DSP to three panels of Cajun Craze card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the front of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Exciting Times stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Calypso Coral card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.
I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered three Calypso Coral dots from the Painted Patch Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Exciting Times stamp set in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Painted Patch DSP to the bottom of the panel to finish the inside of the card.
