I just got back from two back-to-back awesome retreats in north Georiga with a few team members! We had a great time with lots of laughs, way too much food and a little card making too!! I’m sharing a few photos of the event and the projects that we made today!
The first retreat kicked off on Thursday with a little card making.
The Crafty Elk Lodge has a great setup for small crafting groups. The garage has been converted to a great studio with excellent lighting and AC/heat!
James always makes the BEST meals and desserts for us in his beautiful kitchen!!
And the big table fits us all for meals!
The “retreat 1” krew: Karen Finkle, Karen Ksenzakovic, Janet Gruer, Tara Carpenter, me, Mary Deatherage, Becky Graham, Charlene Tackvic and Judi Hartbarger!
We couldn’t resist a silly one too!
Retreat #2 was a little quieter with just 3 of us! But we still had tons of fun and ate WAY too much!
I enjoyed a few days with Mary Deatherage and Melissa Nelson at the Crafty Elk Lodge too!
While we were in Georgia, we also celebrated Mary Deatherage’s $1M sales milestone!! Such an amazing accomplishment!
Mary got lots of sweet cards and gifts and we enjoyed celebrating her!!
We’re always happy to be greeted by Poe and Cooper! They both live at The Crafty Elk Lodge and make sure that we are well taken care of.
The two sweetest little puppies ever!! And they’re always willing to “help” clean up the floors after we’re done eating.
Here are the projects that we worked on this week. We each brought a “shoebox swap” meaning that we created a card, cut up kits and brought the supplies so that everyone else could recreate it.
Aren’t they all amazing?!? Loved creating their projects!
It’s always such a fun week…and we’re sad to see it end. But we’re already looking forward to our event next year (we’re changing it up a bit and meeting at a hotel for an event at the same time as the Stampin’ Up! virtual demonstrator event next summer!) and we’re planning out our 2028 retreat back in Georgia!!
