Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel Season’s Greetings Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.Stampin' Up! Welcome Noel Season's Greetings Christmas Card

Here is the theme that we’re all using this week:

My card design was expired by The Paper Players PP805.

I started by embossing a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered two panels of patterned paper from the Neutral Noel Specialty DSP with Stampin’ Seal so that they were slightly offset.

I cut a circle from Basic Beige card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the circle to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the house and tree images from the Welcome Noel stamp set in Pecan Pie and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images with the coordinating Welcome Noel Dies and then adhered the die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Noel Tidings stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating banner die from the Noel Tidings Dies and then adhered a looped length of twine from the Neutrals Jute Combo Pack with Mini Glue Dots to the back of the sentiment die cut.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then adhered three Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

  1. Such a lovely Christmas card, Amy! I love gold embossing on Christmas cards, it always makes the card seem that little bit fancier. I like your little collage and the background paper is a fantastic choice. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week!
