I used the Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the flower and butterfly images from the Spotlight On Nature stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.

I colored the images with Light and Dark Old Olive, Flirty Flamingo, Peach Pie and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut around the image with the coordinating Spotlight On Nature Dies (restocking around June 24). I inked the crosshatch image from the Spotlight On Nature stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and then stamped it around the edges of the die cut. I adhered the die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Spotlight On Nature stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Flirty Flamingo dots from the Adhesive-Backed Dots For Days to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Country Woods DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
