I used the Stampin’ Up! Layers Of Beauty stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Basic Beige card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I used Blending Brushes to stencil Petal Pink, Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight inks on a panel of Basic Beige card stock with the Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks. I stamped the lined image from the Layers Of Beauty photopolymer stamp set in Pecan Pie ink over the stenciled images.

I cut the floral image out with one of the Layers Of Beauty Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I cut panels of Pecan Pie and Basic Beige card stocks with the leaf dies from the Layers Of Beauty Dies. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhered the die cut leaves to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Layers Of Beauty stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock then I cut around it with one of the Greetings Of The Season Dies (Online Exclusive item available July 3). I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through the hole in the die cut and then tied a bow. I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots to finish the inside of the card.

I stamped the floral image in Layers Of Beauty stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the card front.
