Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “birthday” theme and I’m featuring the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set bundle for my cards.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder (restocking around February 24) and then adhered it to another panel of Beautiful Bokeh DSP with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the butterfly images from the Beautiful Butterflies photopolymer stamp set ($60 level Sale-a-bration item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut and emboss the large butterfly with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder and Dies and then cut the smaller butterflies with the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. I adhered the large butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the two smaller butterflies with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut the sentiment with the coordinating Beautiful Butterflies Dies and then adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered two of the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins ($60 level Sale-a-bration item) to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Balmy Blue and Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the butterflies with Light and Dark Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
