Serene Silhouettes & Gently Falling With Masking Tape Technique

I tried out the Masking Tape Technique for the first time and I had so much fun that I created two cards!  It’s really simple and quick and the best part is that it’s supposed to look a little uneven so you can’t really goof it up.  🙂  I put together a quick tutorial for this technique and I’m putting it onto my Tutorials Page so you can click on the Tutorials tab at the top of the page to find it back quickly in the future.

I used the CAS(E) This Sketch #46 and the CAS-ual Friday CFC115 Challenges to inspire my card design.  And I used the Serene Silhouettes and Gently Falling stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! for the images.

Flower Shop Just Because Card

My card share today was inspired by one that I saw on Pinterest that was made by Mary Brown.  You can see her fabulous card here.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set and matching Pansy Punch from Stampin’ Up! to create my card.  Did you know that you can purchase the stamp set and punch together in a bundle and save 15%?  You can see the details in the catalog on page 95, right under the picture of the flowers in the vase (Flower Shop Bundle 132727 wood, 132726 clear).

CAS Best of Butterflies Card

By the time that most of you read this, I’ll be on my way to the airport to catch a long flight across the country to our new house in the Atlanta, GA area.  Can’t believe that today is the big move day!

Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card that I made with the Best of Butterflies stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  I used the whitewash painting technique for the butterfly, you can see a quick picture tutorial for this technique here on my Tutorials page.  My card design was inspired by the Retrosketches #67.
