I used the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Song stamp set from the upcoming July 1 Online Exclusives to create a fun birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by adhering three panels of patterned paper from the 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP (Online Exclusive item available July 1) to three panels of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered DSP panels to the front of a Barely Blush card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow.
Then I stamped the flamingo image from the Birthday Song stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the image with Light and Dark Barely Blush and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut around the image with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then stamped the grass image from the Fun For Fall stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) across the bottom area of the die cut in Lemon Lime Twist ink. I stamped the sun image from the Summer Happiness stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in Lemon Lolly ink and the cloud image from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Pool Party ink on the die cut.
I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Song stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Barely Blush card stock, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Fragrant Layers Dies and then adhered it with Mini Glue Dots to the card front. I added two 2026-2028 In Color Dots (restocking around July 27) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and the flamingos from the Birthday Song stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and Barely Blush ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
