Black and White Card

In honor of Black Friday tomorrow, I made  a quick black and white card with just a touch of color.

Here is the list of products that you will need to make this card:

  • Winter Memories (127934 wood, 127937 clear)
  • Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127821)
  • StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad (101406)
  • Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker (100052)
  • Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker (105115)
  • Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
  • Basic Black Card Stock (121045)
  • Stamping Sponges (101610)
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

I embossed the 4″ x 5.25″ white background panel with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  Then I stamped the sled image and sentiment on Whisper White Card Stock using StazOn Jet Black ink.  I colored the bow, holly berries and birds using my Real Red and Pumpkin Pie markers.  Trimmed the edges and sponged them with black ink, then trimmed a layer from Basic Black Card Stock to fit under the sled image.  I trimmed the sentiment and snipped the flag end and added a layer of Basic Black Card Stock under it too.  I adhered the image and sentiment to the white panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered everything to a Basic Black card base.  So quick and simple and I love just a little touch of color on a basically black and white card.

Off to finish making our Thanksgiving meal.  The Prime Rib is roasting, the pies are in the oven, just need to finish up the potatoes and veggies!  Enjoy your holiday and your Black Friday shopping!!

Don’t forget, you can shop the Online Extravaganza in your PJ’s all weekend!  Click the button on the right side of the screen to go right to my online store and shop away!  And I’m also doing an ordering bonus for anyone purchasing from my online store during the sale.  Click on the Rewards button at the top of the page and scroll down to see all of the details.
