Thought I’d share two last second and super fast gifts that I made using some dies and Designer Papers from Stampin’ Up. You could easily tuck a gift card into either of the treat holders too.
The first one is a candy bar holder:

I started by cutting a piece of Snow Festival DSP to 4″ x 6″ and a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″. Then I stamped the snowman image from the Snow Much Fun stamp set in StazOn Jet Black in on Whisper White and I cut it out using the Ovals Collection Framelits. Then I colored the snowman using my Stampin’ Write Markers and I added a little bit of Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to the parts that I’d colored with Baja Breeze (the shadow looking areas). To finish up the snowman image, I stamped snowflakes from the Stylin’ Snowfolk stamp set around the edges. Then I cut an oval from Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and embossed it with the Argyle Embossing Folder and I adhered the two ovals together with SNAIL Adhesive. Then I colored the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock and punched it out with the Word Window Punch. I punched a Modern Label punch from Gumball Green Card Stock and I adhered it behind the sentiment and added two small rhinestones on either side. I adhered the sentiment to the ovals using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I cut the Baja Breeze panel with the Apothecary Accents Framelits die and I stamped the snowflakes all over it. I placed my candy bar and folded the Baja Breeze die cut over the top. Once I had the folds completed, I adhered the die cut to the DSP base with Snail Adhesive and I placed a Silver Glimmer brad on either side. Then I adhered the DSP base to the Whisper White background using SNAIL Adhesive and I adhered the oval snowman layer over the center of the die cut and candy bar also using SNAIL Adhesive.
Very quick to put together, I made one of these for our mail carrier.
And here is a little candy cane holder that took less then 5 minutes to complete:
Here is the list of products that you will need to make this treat holder:
- Fabulous Phrases (117002 wood, 120501 clear)
- Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die (123131)
- Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags (128152)
- Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (119685)
- Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad (126966)
- SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
- Sticky Strip (104294)
I started by cutting the Petite Pocket from Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (I discarded the two little buttons). I adhered the sides together with Sticky Strip. Then I stamped the “To” and “From” sentiments from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tag. I finished the treat holder by using SNAIL Adhesive to adhere the tag around the pocket. It wrapped around the back and the two ends met in the middle so it was the perfect size!
So simple!
