Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card that I made with the Stampin’ Up! Best of Birthdays stamp set.  Stampin’ Up! is releasing a new Best of stamp set each month for the entire year and all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.  As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, Stampin’ Up! is including a collector’s card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set.  When you collect six stickers, you can send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice (any current catalog stamp set) valued up to $14.95!  To see all of the Best of stamp sets released so far in my online store, click here.

I started by embossing the background panel with the Stripes Embossing Folder and I adhered it to the card base with SNAIL.  I stamped the images from the Best of Birthdays stamp set on a Whisper White panel and I adhered it with SNAIL to a Tangerine Tango panel that I’d cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits Die.  I cut two panels of the Sycamore Street DSP and adhered them to Tangerine Tango panels with SNAIL.  I trimmed one end of each die cut off so that it matched up with the edge of the layered panels.

I used the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack template to pierce around the edges of the three panels and I adhered the panels with SNAIL to the card front.  I tied a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through two of the Sycamore Street Buttons and one Brights Designer Button and I adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

I finished the card by stamping the little present image in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight ink on a Whisper White panel and I adhered it inside the card with SNAIL.
