I am so happy to see that Pool Party will be sticking around for the 2013-14 Annual Catalog!  I couldn’t resist making a quick, clean and simple thank you card using a few of the Stampin’ Up! Pool Party items.  My card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #80.

I started by using the Essentials Piercing Pack template and my Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce the designs in the Very Vanilla panel.

Then I stacked ten of the Pool Party flowers from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, pierced the center, placed a Vanilla Fabric Covered Brad (also from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit) through the center, and scrunched the flower petals.  I adhered the flower to the Very Vanilla panel with Glue Dots.

I adhered a strip of Pool Party 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon to the Vanilla Panel with SNAIL.  I colored the images and sentiment from the Tiny Tags stamp set, stamped them on Very Vanilla card stock and punched them out with the Jewelry Tag Punch.  I pierced the center of each tag and the center of the Ruffled Ribbon about 1-1/4″ from the left side of the panel and I placed a Silver 1/8″ Mini Brad through the tags and panel.  Then I placed a Stampin’ Dimensional under the two tags to adhere them to the card front.

I adhered the bow over the brad using a Glue Dot, then adhered the panel to the Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the card by piercing the scalloped pattern and stamping the Tiny Tags flower image again on a Very Vanilla panel, then adhering the panel to the inside of the card with SNAIL.
