Today I’m sharing a card that I made using the Dress Form and Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts dies from Stampin’ Up! I modified the dress form a bit and created a pop up flower pot.
I started by cutting a Tempting Turquoise piece of the Brights DSP Stack with the Card Base and Dress Form Pop ‘n Cuts and a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with just the Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts die.
I modified the Dress Form by cutting the piece above the crease off with my Paper Snips. Then I went to work creating the flower pot.
I cut a 2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Crumb Cake card stock and I used a straight edge to draw a line from the top corner to the bottom, 1/4″ in from the edge. I cut the edges with my Stampin’ Trimmer, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I cut a 5/8″ x 3-3/4″ strip of Crumb Cake card stock, sponged the edges and adhered it over the top of the flower pot base with SNAIL to create the rim.
I stamped the flower images from the Secret Garden stamp set in VersaMark ink on Pretty in Pink card stock, sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them. I cut the flowers out with Secret Garden Framelits Dies and I also cut the stems from Certainly Celery card stock using the die set. I cut a piece of Certainly Celery card stock to 2-1/2″ x 3″ and I adhered it to the back side of the flower pot with Sticky Strip, leaving about 2 inches above the top of the flower pot. I adhered the Secret Garden flowers and stems over the panel and flower pot with SNAIL. Then I adhered the flower pot to the inside of the card (over the dress form pop up) with SNAIL. I added a the buttons to the flower pot with Glue Dots
Then I stamped the sentiment from the Feel Goods stamp set on Whisper White card stock in Tempting Turquoise ink. I stamped the Secret Garden flower images over the sentiment in Pretty in Pink ink and I cut the sentiment out with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies. I layered it over a Pretty in Pink panel of from the Subtles DSP Stack that I’d also cut with a Labels Collection Framelits Die and adhered it with SNAIL. I added 5 rhinestones to finish the inside of the card.
I stamped the label image from the Everything Eleanor stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on the back of the Crumb Cake card base die cut. Then I stamped the image from the Layered Labels stamp set in Certainly Celery ink on Whisper White card stock and I cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits Die and adhered it to the card base with SNAIL. To finish the card, I colored the center of the sentiment with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and adhered it to the card base with SNAIL. Then I adhered the Crumb Cake card base to the Tempting Turquoise Dress Form die cut with SNAIL.

Retiring Colors Are Selling Out Quickly
Just an FYI, if you’d like to pick up anything in the retiring colors (click here to see my blog post with the list), make sure that you order soon. Six of the ink refills are gone and one or two of the card stock colors are gone. I did find that you can still order the multipacks of card stock (contain 2 sheets of each color in the color family) and the multipacks of ink refills (contain one refill for each color in the color family). Click here to view all of the colored card stock in my online store. Click here to view all of the ink pads and refills in my online store. So if one of the colors that you really want is gone, you can still stock up with the bigger packs.
