Lacy & Lovely Thank You

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the Lacy & Lovely stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  My card design was inspired by the Retrosketches #58 Sketch Challenge.

Lacy & Lovely

I started by coloring the Flowering Flourishes image with my Stampin’ Write markers and I stamped it on a Crumb Cake panel and I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  I wrapped the Very Vanilla 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the Crumb Cake panel to a Very Vanilla card base with SNAIL.

I cut a strip of Print Poetry DSP and adhered it to a strip of Very Vanilla card stock, cut the banner end with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the three images from the Lacy & Lovely stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock in Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy and Riding Hood Red ink.  I punched the Crumb Cake image with a 2-1/2″ Circle Punch, sponged the edges and adhered it with SNAIL the card front.  Then I punched the Not Quite Navy image with a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch and I punched the Riding Hood Red image with a 1″ Circle Punch and adhered both of them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set in Not Quite Navy ink on Crumb Cake card stock.  I trimmed it and used a 3/16″ Corner Punch to round the corners, sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I added a button from the Artisan Embellishments Kit and a bow, using Glue Dots to adhered them.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the Lacy & Lovely images off on scrap paper, then stamping them on the card stock.
