Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hour stamp set and Patio Party DSP.  I love the summer colors in the Patio Party DSP, I think they’re perfect for tropical drinks!  The design for this card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #83.

I turned the sketch on its side for my card.

I started by using SNAIL to adhere a piece of Baja Breeze 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around a panel of Patio Party DSP.  I adhered the panel to the Baja Breeze card base with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the strip of Patio Party DSP to a strip of Baja Breeze card stock, then adhered the layered strips to the card front with SNAIL.

Next, I colored the images from the Happy Hour stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped them (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement) on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment in StazOn Jet Black ink, then adhered the panel to a panel of Baja Breeze card stock with SNAIL.  To finish the card front, I adhered the layered panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added five rhinestones above it.

I stamped the drink glass images again in Baja Breeze on a Whisper White panel that I adhered inside the card.
