Mosaic Madness Mother’s Day Card

Today I’m sharing another sneak peek at some new items from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! catalog.  I made this card using the new Mosaic Madness stamp set and the new Subtles color, Blushing Bride.  The design and colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos #50 and the Retrosketches #61 challenges.

Mosaic Madness

I started by embossing the Blushing Bride panel with the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder and I adhered it to a panel of Calypso, then to a Blushing Bride card base with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the Word Window Punch, adhered it with SNAIL to a Calypso Coral Modern Label Punch, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next, I stamped the images from the Mosaic Madness stamp set in Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White card stock (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement).  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with SNAIL, then I wrapped a piece of Calypso Coral 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon around it and adhered it with SNAIL.  I tied a bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card front by adding pearls to the center of the Calypso Coral mosaic images and to the sides of the sentiment.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping one of the Modern Mosaic images along the bottom of a Whisper White panel, then adhering the panel to the inside of the card with SNAIL.

  1. A delightful Mother’s Day card. 😉 I love how you used the colors, with such fun pattern and texture and pretty embellishments. Thank you so much for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week. 😉
