Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the new In Colors from Stampin’ Up! and the Make a Cake stamp set.  My card design was inspired by the CAS-ual Friday 100 Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  The challenge is to use all of the items in any row to create a clean and simple card.  I chose the diagonal line with Birthday, Bling and Punches or Dies.

I started by stamping the cake image from the Make a Cake stamp set (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement) in Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush inks on Whisper White card stock.  I cut the cake out with the Ovals Collection Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL to another oval that I’d cut from Coastal Cabana card stock.  Then I used the Occasions and Essentials Paper-Piercing Packs and my Paper-Piercing tool to pierce the oval and the corners of a Crisp Cantaloupe panel.  I adhered the Crisp Cantaloupe panel to a Strawberry Slush panel, then to a Coastal Cabana card base with SNAIL.

I punched the three flowers from Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush card stock using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack flower punch and I adhered them with Glue Dots to the cake image.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White card stock, cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To finish the card front, I added a rhinestone to the center of each flower and to the ends of the sentiment.

I added a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card after piercing the corners using the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack template and the Paper-Piercing Tool.
