I’m sharing another sneak peek at the Gingham Garden DSP and Washi Tape from Stampin’ Up! with you today.  I love the colors in this paper and I love that it’s got some muted designs and some bold designs.  I used the Oh, Hello stamp set, so glad that’s carrying over into the big catalog too!  My design was inspired by the RetroSketches #64 and I stamped directly on the DSP for the CAS-ual Fridays 101 Challenge.

I started by adhering a panel of Garden Gingham DSP to a panel of Whisper White with SNAIL, then to the Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a square of Garden Gingham DSP, ran it through my Big Shot with the Window Collection Framelits die and kept the negative piece.

I adhered the three strips of Gingham Garden Washi Tape to the top of the Whisper White square, then used SNAIL to adhere the die cut DSP piece over the top of the Washi Tape on one side and under it on the other.  I adhered the layered square to the card front with SNAIL, trimmed flag ends in the Washi Tape with my Paper Snips, then adhered the Washi Tape to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Oh, Hello stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Gingham Garden DSP.  Then I inked up the stem of the flower with my Pear Pizzazz ink pad and I colored the flower with my Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker and I stamped the flower image below the sentiment.  I cut the sentiment out with an Ovals Collection Framelits die and I adhered it with SNAIL to a Night of Navy oval die cut that I’d embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  I finished the card front by adhering the layered ovals with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of the Gingham Garden DSP to a panel of Whisper White with SNAIL.
