Too Kind in Primrose Petals and Gumball Green

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with Too Kind stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  I love this flower image, I think it’s going to be one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog.  My card colors were inspired by the Pals Paper Arts PPA160 Color Challenge.

Too Kind

I started by embossing a Whisper White panel with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder and I adhered it to a panel of Gumball Green card stock with SNAIL, then to the Primrose Petals card base with SNAIL.  I adhered two pieces of Gumball Green DSP from the DSP Stacks to panels of Primrose Petals card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Too Kind 1

I stamped the stem image from the Too Kind stamp set in Gumball Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the flower images in Pink Pirouette (I cheated a little on the color challenge) and Primrose Petals ink.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Primrose Petals card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Too Kind stamp set in Primrose Petals ink on a Whisper White panel, punched it out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch and adhered it with SNAIL to a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from Primrose Petals card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.  I finished the card front by placing two In Color Dahlias on the flower panel using Glue Dots to secure them.

Too Kind 2

I stamped the flower image a second time in Pink Pirouette and Primrose Petals ink on a Whisper White panel that I adhered inside the card.
