I used the My Friend stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card today. My card design was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 187 and by The Paper Players PP152 Tic Tac Toe Challenge (I picked the bottom row embossing, friendship & ribbon).
I started by cutting a 5″ Calypso Coral square into two pieces at the 1″ mark. I embossed both pieces with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, then I adhered them back together with tape. Then I adhered a panel of the Etcetera DSP to the embossed panel with SNAIL. Next, I sponged Calypso Coral ink on the top side of my Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and I embossed a strip of Very Vanilla card stock. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front with SNAIL. Then I embossed another panel of Calypso Coral card stock with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. I adhered a strip of Very Vanilla 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon with SNAIL over the seam in the Calypso Coral Square.
Next, I used my Brayer to roll Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the flower image from the My Friend stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I cut the image out with a Circle Collection Framelit die and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. Then I stamped the sentiment in StazOn Jet Black ink on a Calypso Coral card stock strip and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished the card front by adhering the decorated square to a Calypso Coral card base with SNAIL, then adding three small rhinestones under the sentiment.
I also added a strip of Etcetera DSP to the Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
