Backyard Basics Single Flower Card

I used the Backyard Basics stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for my card share today.  I thought that the single flower image would work perfectly for this sketch.  My card design was inspired by the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 270.

Backyard Basics

I started by stamping the butterfly images from the Backyard Basics stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Melon Membo panel.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I heat embossed them.  Then I adhered a panel of the Gingham Garden DSP to the Melon Mambo panel with SNAIL and I wrapped a strip of Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and a strip of Melon Mambo 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the panel and adhered them with SNAIL.

Backyard Basics 1

I stamped the tulip image in StazOn Jet Black ink on a Whisper White strip and I colored it with my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered the decorated panel to a Pear Pizzazz card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Backyard Basics 2

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the butterfly image in Pear Pizzazz on a Whisper White panel.

For those of you celebrating, have a happy and safe 4th!
