I needed another anniversary card so I pulled out the Embellished Events stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create one to share with you today. This is a great, basic set that covers just about any occasion!
My card design was inspired by the Retrosketches #75.
I started by adhering a panel of Midnight Muse DSP from the 2012-14 In Color DSP Stacks to a Primrose Petals card base with SNAIL. Then I adhered a strip of Crushed Curry Core’dinations Card Stock to the card front with SNAIL. I cut a strip of Primrose Petals Core’dinations Card Stock with the Large Scallop Edgelits die, stamped the sentiment from the Express Yourself stamp set in Midnight Muse ink on the strip, then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.
I cut a heart from Primrose Petals Core’dinations Card Stock using the Hearts Collection Framelits Die and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. I colored the image of the glass from the Embellished Events stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it twice on a Whisper White panel and cut them out with my Paper Snips. I adhered them to the card front with Stampn’ Dimensionals. Then I cut about a six inch strip of Midnight Muse 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and I ran my SNAIL along the back. I gathered the ribbon and adhered it to itself and the card front to create the rippled effect. Then I added a Frosted Finished Embellishment (wow, do I love these!!), using a Glue Dot to adhere it and some small rhinestones to finish the card front.
I finished the inside of the card by coloring and stamping the glass image twice on a Whisper White panel.

I think a pack of 3 x3 notecards with fun images & positive sentiments is a perfect teacher gift so they can use them to give to the kids during the year
Cutely (not sure if that is a word!) packaged school supplies or snacks & candy or maybe a candle. I guess maybe it depends on the teacher 🙂 Thanks for the chance at the goodies!
I am a teacher and have received many wonderful gifts over the years and appreciate anything the children give me as they are always from the heart. Some of my favorites have been class gifts that everyone has signed (A basket, pottery, card, etc.) No doubt I would love a set of homemade cards . Teachers are always needing thank you cards. When I give a set of cards I always include the extra postage butterfly stamps so they have everything they need.
My favorite gifts are survival kits…..but card packets (thank you notes) , or gift cards with a cute card holder is great too. Maybe a gift card for pizza for 1st dinner after school starts.
I think gift cards or note cards would be a great gift for a teacher. Also maybe a fruit basket at the end of the year. Especially filled with apples!!
I think consumable items are best…as teachers may be receiving lots of gifts. Therefore, a nice set of gift cards or an assortment of cards would be perfect!
CHOCOLATE !!! A cute package of anything chocolate to help them get through the day !! A package of note cards (blank to use for various reasons) with chocolate is what I loved to get when I taught. That was before I discovered Stampin’ Up and made my own cards !!

One of my favorite teacher gifts is a stationary set of cards. Mixing up happy colors and cards for everything from Birthday to thank you.

Over the years, my children presented gifts of every type. Some were store bought but many were made by them. I love to knit, crochet, x-stitch, quilt and sew so I often made personalized or monogrammed items for teachers – quilted tote bag, eyeglass case, set of placemats w/matching napkins, etc.
Love how you’ve used the sketch to make the perfect anniversary card and how you’ve used a touch of bling as the bubbles!
My favourite teacher pressie? Has to be the old box of chocs for me…who doesn’t like a box of chocolates?!
I usually make a card with a coffee gift card. Even if they don’t drink coffee, there are other treats!
BTW, nice card! I don’t have this set, but want it mostly because of the champagne glasses.
My son’s girlfriend is a teacher and I have given her diecut suitcases (Sizzix Scoreboards) for her students. She gave them to the students at the end of the year. Each one had a note about how they could travel anywhere through reading books as well as a little candy. Very cute and the kids and parents loved them. It was great for her to give and not have to do work except for the notes.
A great gift would be an indoor plant!!!
As a retired principal a set of cards was always appreciated ,even though I made cards, knowing the work and love that goes into them I knew they were a wonderful well thought gift! You can never have enough cards. Thanks for this opportunity to win!!!

The teacher gift that touched me the most was a finger paint project we did in my special education classroom, that a parent had copied/printed and made into notecards for me! That gesture showed me that these parents really did care what we did with their severely impaired child. It showed that our care and efforts in the classroom made a difference to the student and his family. That gesture renewed my spirit and boosted my energy for the rest of the school year!
Couple of ideas; a personalized coffee mug with a gift card or a gift card to a store that carries school supplies like stickers etc.

I make an oblong box that holds 7 hershey nuggets. I wrap each candy in dsp and spell out t h a n k s !. One letter for each piece of candy.plus the !. I’ve also made small boxes that hold 3×3 cards. That is always appreciated..
