Seasons Greetings with a Wonderful Wreath

I pulled out three stamp sets from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for my card today.  I used the Wonderful Wreath, Truly Grateful and the Joy to the World stamp sets to create another holiday card to share with you.  My design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #98 and the CASual Fridays CFC111 Buttons Challenge.

Joy to the World

I started by adhering a strip of Cherry Cobbler 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon to a panel of Season of Style DSP with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the DSP panel to a Cherry Cobbler card base with SNAIL.  Next, I stamped the wood image from the Truly Grateful stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a Crumb Cake square using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement.  I adhered the Crumb Cake square to a Cherry Cobbler square, then to an Old Olive square, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Wonderful Wreath

Next, I stamped the woodgrain image again on a Whisper White panel without reinking it.  Then I stamped the Wonderful Wreath image in Old Olive over the woodgrain image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Joy to the World stamp set in VersaMark ink on the wreath, sprinkled it with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I hand cut the wreath with my Paper Snips, then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To finish the card front, I tied pieces of Natural Linen Thread through a Cherry Cobbler and an Old Olive button, then adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

Many Merry Messages

To finish the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the woodgrain image again in Crumb Cake down the side.  And I adhered a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock and a strip of the Season of Style DSP with SNAIL.
