I saw this cool mummy card made by Carrie Rhoades out on Pinterest and loved it!  It is really easy to do, just rip the strips of card stock and sponge the edges then layer them.  I used the Tags 4 You stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for the sentiment and a few of the circle punches for the two goofy eyes.

My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #84 and The Paper Players #166 and the colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos #73.

I started by tearing strips of Very Vanilla card stock along one edge.  I sponged the torn edges of the strips with Cajun Craze ink and I adhered them to a Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Island Indigo panel then to the Cajun Craze card base with SNAIL.

I colored the Tags 4 You sentiment with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Very Vanilla panel, punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I punched a 1-3/8″, 1-1/4″ and 1″ circle from Very Vanilla card stock.  I punched out a 3/4″ and a 1/2″ circle from Cajun Craze card stock and a 1/2″ circle and a circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack from Island Indigo card stock.  I sponged the edge of the 1-3/8″ circle with Cajun Craze ink and I adhered a 1-1/4″ Very Vanilla, a 3/4″ Cajun Craze and a 1/2″ Island Indigo circle with SNAIL to it.  Then I adhered the 1/2″ circle from Cajun Craze and Island Indigo Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack circle to the 1″ Very Vanilla circle with SNAIL.  I punched some of my leftover torn strips with the 1-3/8″ and 1″ circle punches to create the bandages for his eyes and I adhered them with SNAIL.  I finished card front by adhering the larger eye with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the smaller eye with SNAIL, then drawing a C shape on each eye with the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and another strip of the torn Very Vanilla card stock that I’d sponged with Cajun Craze ink.
