I used the Snow Day and Sweet Essentials stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a window card to share with you today.  I saw this fantastic snowman card made by Mary Brown and loved the happy snowman and I couldn’t wait to make one of my own.  My card design today was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches 110.

I started by stamping the snowman image from the Snow Day stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) on a Soft Sky panel in VersaMark Ink and heat embossing it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I stamped the snowman’s buttons, arms and mouth in VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and added a Pumpkin Pie nose and a few snowflakes in Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink.

The Squares Collection Framelits Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder and Soft Suede Core’diations Card Stock from the Neutrals Core’dinations Card Stock pack were used to create the window panel.  I sanded the panel with my Stampin’ Sanding Block to create a little color variation.

The sentiment on the banner is from the Sweet Essentials stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) and it was stamped in Real Red ink.  I used the Hexagon Punch to create the banner end on the sentiment.  I tied a bit on Natural Linen Thread through a Garden Green button from the Regals Designer Buttons pack and adhered it with a Glue Dot to finish the card front.

The inside Whisper White panel was stamped with the sentiment from the Wishing You stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Real Red ink and the snowflakes were stamped in Soft Sky ink.
