I pulled out the Lovely as a Tree stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a glittery winter scene for my card today. The Paper Players #174 Evergreen theme was my inspiration for this card. The colors were inspired by the Split Coast Stampers CC455 Color Challenge, which was to use Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Gold for a card. An unusual color combination, I was surprised how well the colors came together for a holiday card.
I used the Snow Day and Sweet Essentials stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a window card to share with you today. I saw this fantastic snowman card made by Mary Brown and loved the happy snowman and I couldn’t wait to make one of my own. My card design today was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches 110.
Thanks so much to everyone for leaving your comments over the weekend. I truly appreciate it and I hope that you’re enjoying the cards that Sandi and I have been sharing. I did a random drawing from all of the comments received to choose the winner of the Perfectly You hostess stamp set.
The winner is: Sandy Meyers
Sandy wrote: Your holiday cards are beautiful with the beautiful ribbon and bling. I usually make 40 to 60 cards, using several different designs and stamp sets. I’m way behind this year as I spent about 9 weeks earlier this summer in the hospital, but will do my best to make as many as I can! Happy card-making!
Congratulations Sandy! I’ll be sending you an email shortly to get your address and I’ll get your stamp set packed up and ready to ship out ASAP.
I pulled out the new Snow Day stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card share for today. I love that it’s got all of the little pieces for the snowman extras, lots of fun! My card design was inspired by the My Favorite Things Sketch 136.
