I used the Magnificent Maple and Truly Grateful stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a fall thank you card to share with you today.  My card design was inspired by the Retrosketches #88 and the colors were inspired by Fab Friday 30.

I embossed the Crushed Curry background panel with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and I adhered it to an Early Espresso card base.

The Old Olive layer was punched with the Envelope Punch Board corner rounder and stamped with the woodgrain image from the Truly Grateful stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Old Olive ink.  The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

The Magnificent Maple leaf images were also stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive card stock, then trimmed with Paper Snips.  The Old Olive and Cajun Craze leaves were adhered to a Very Vanilla Core’dinations Card Stock panel from the Neutrals Core’dinations Card Stock pack, then to an Early Espresso panel with SNAIL.  To give the card front a little depth, the Crushed Curry leaf was popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I twisted a piece of Crushed Curry 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front, then I rolled a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine across my Cajun Craze ink pad and tied it through a Very Vintage Designer Button.  I adhered the button over the Chevron Ribbon with Glue Dots.

The Very Vanilla panel inside the card was stamped with the Magnificent Maple image in Early Espresso ink to complete the card.
