Happy Monday! I used the Best of Christmas, Snowflake Soiree and Endless Wishes stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today. Did you know that you can earn a free stamp set from Stampin’ Up! when you purchase six Best Of stamp sets? Simply put the little “25” stickers that come with each set onto the collector card (also included) and mail it to Stampin’ Up! with your stamp set choice valued up to $14.95! I chose the Endless Wishes stamp set as my free set. 🙂 You can see all of the Best Of stamp sets that are available now from Stampin’ Up! in my online store here.
My card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #111.
I wanted to create another easy to mail card and I thought the clean and simple sketch was perfect for that. I started by stamping the snowflake images from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on a Cherry Cobbler panel and heat embossing them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
I stamped the sentiment from the Endless Wishes Photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with White Stampin Emboss Powder. Then I adhered the stamped panel to an Old Olive panel then to a Cherry Cobbler card base. I added two pieces of Season of Style DSP layered over Old Olive card stock to create the broken band across the card front.
The Santa image from the Best of Christmas stamp set (clear mount only) was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I colored the image with my Stampin’ Write Markers and added a little Dazzling Details to the fur pieces no the hat. The image was punched out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch then layered over a Cherry Cobbler circle die cut with the Circles Collection Framelits die and an Old Olive circle die cut with the Circles #2 Originals Die. The layered image was adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the Whisper White panel inside the card with the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Old Olive ink and the snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink.
I love the look of the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on the Cherry Cobbler card stock, hope that you like it too! The complete list of supplies, including the card stock cuts, is at the very bottom of this post.
