Today I’m sharing a thank you card that I made with the Owl Builder Punch from Stampin’ Up!  My card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches 114 and the colors were inspired by Fab Friday 32.

I started by stamping a panel of Polka Dot Parade DSP in VersaMark Ink with the sentiment from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (wood mount and clear mount on sale through today for 30% off).  I heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and adhered the panel to a Coastal Cabana panel, then to a Gumball Green card base.

I cut two thin strips of Coast Cabana card stock and adhered them over the DSP panel.  Then I embossed a panel of Gumball Green Core’dinations Card Stock (from the 2012-14 In Color Core’dinations Card Stock pack on sale through today for 30% off) with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and sanded the raised areas with my Stampin’ Sanding Block.  I adhered that panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the A Round Array stamp set (wood mount and clear mount on sale through today for 40% off) in VersaMark Ink on a Coastal Cabana panel and heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I punched it out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and layered it over a 1″ Circle Punch from Gumball Green card stock.

I punched the owl pieces out with the Owl Builder Punch from Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana and Basic Black card stock.  I adhered them together then to a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch from Whisper White card stock.  I cut a circle from Real Red card stock with the Circles #2 Originals Die and adhered it to the layered owl punches.  Then I punched a 2-3/8″ Circle Punch from Coastal Cabana card stock and I adhered that to the back of the Real Red die cut.  I adhered the layered punches to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added a little bow using a Glue Dot to adhere it that I tied using Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of Perfect Polka Dot DSP to a Whisper White panel.
