I made a card using three of the 2014 Sale-a-bration items and a new stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2014 Occasions Catalog.  The Sale-a-bration items that I used are the Sweet Sorbet DSP, the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (three items that you can earn for free between Jan 28 & Mar 31!).  The new stamp set from the Occasions Catalog is called Perfect Pennants and it’s got a matching set of Banners Framelits Dies.  🙂

My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 323 Sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (available Jan 28) to a panel of Whisper White card stock, then to a Pistachio Pudding card base.  Then I embossed a panel of Pistachio Pudding card stock with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (available Jan 28) and adhered it to a Whisper White panel.

I wrapped strands of twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (available Jan 28) around the embossed panel and adhered them to the back with tape.  Then I adhered the embossed panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a circle from the Sweet Sorbet DSP with the Circles Collection Framelits dies and adhered it to a Crisp Cantaloupe circle die cut.  I adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set (available Jan 3) in Crisp Cantaloupe ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the Banners Framelits Dies (available Jan 3).  I adhered the banner to the card front then added a cork flower from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack to complete the card front.

I finished the inside of the card by adding a strip of the Sweet Sorbet DSP to a panel of Whisper White.

I love the Sale-a-bration items this year!  The Sweet Sorbet DSP and Accessory Pack are so pretty and the Decorative Dots Embossing folder is so cool…the best part is that you can pick these items for free with a $50 or greater order during Sale-a-bration!!
