Gift Card Envelopes & Pop ‘n Cuts Gift Card Holders – Stampin’ Up!

I’m finally finishing up my holiday gift wrapping and I thought that I’d show you a few gift card holders that I made.  I found a couple of fabulous tutorials, one by Kristin Chowanec and one by Cindy Elam, that I followed along with to make these.  There are links to their tutorials below.  I made a few modifications to the gift card holder made with the Envelope Punch Board (shown on the left in the photo) and I created a quick photo tutorial that you can see by clicking here.

I’ll start with the Pop ‘n Cuts gift card holders on the right.  I pretty much followed Kristin Chowanec’s tutorial exactly when I created my gift card holders.  You can see Kristin’s fabulous tutorial by clicking here.  ***Please be sure to take note of where to apply the Sticky Strip…I put it in the wrong place on my first round of holders and the gift cards wouldn’t slide in the slot because I’d glued it shut!!  🙂

One thing that I did differently was that I adhered a panel of DSP to a panel of Textured Card Stock before I cut the holder with my Pop ‘n Cuts Card Base die (on sale through tomorrow at 25% off).  I used the single A Gift For You stamp, a little Cherry Cobbler 1″ Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon and Smoky Slate 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon and some Season of Style and Winter Frost Specialty DSP to decorate the outside of the holders.

This is what the gift card holders that I made look like on the inside.  I stamped the to/from sentiment from the Tags 4 You stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) and punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch, then adhered it to a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch.

Don’t forget that you can pick up the Tags 4 You and Label Bracket Punch in a bundle and save 15% for a few more weeks, the Holiday Catalog ends on Jan 2!  (wood mount and clear mount)

I used the same stamps and DSP packs along with the Envelope Punch Board to create the Gift Card Envelopes.  You can see Cindy Elam’s tutorial for creating a similar gift card holder by clicking here.  I made the gift card holder smaller and left out the pull-out panel when I created mine.  You can see my tutorial by clicking here.

I hope that my gift card holders have given you some ideas to finish up your holiday gift wrapping too!  They were really quick to put together.  I was able to finish up all 7 in about 1.5 hours (even with my goofs!!).

The complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create these projects is at the very bottom of this post.
