So Very Grateful & Banner Blast Sneak Peeks – Stampin’ Up!

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with  a few new stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure.  The little heart banner is from the Sale-a-bration Banner Blast stamp set and it’s got a matching Banner Punch and the flower images are from the So Very Grateful stamp set from the 2014 Occasions Catalog.

My card design was inspired by the Split Coast Stampers SC466 sketch and the colors were inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments #174 colors.

So Very Grateful - Stamp With Amy K

I started by embossing a panel of Baked Brown Sugar Core’dinations Card Stock (from the 2013-15 In Color Core’dinations Card Stock pack – on sale for 25% off through today) with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder.  I sanded the raised areas with my Stampin’ Sanding Block and I adhered it to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock.

I adhered a panel of Cherry Cobbler DSP (from the Regals Collection DSP Stacks) to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock that I’d trimmed with the Tiny Wave Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade.  After adhering the layered panel to the card front, I adhered a layer of Quatrefancy Specialty DSP to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock that I’d punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front, then added a Daffodil Delight oval that I’d cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  I adhered a strip of Cherry Cobbler 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the panel, then adhered the layered panel to a Cherry Cobbler card base.  Next, I stamped the image from the So Very Grateful stamp set (available Jan 3) in StazOn Jet Black Ink and colored it with my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut it out with an Ovals Collection Framelits die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

So Very Grateful 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I colored the sentiment from the Sketched Birthday stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Whisper White panel, cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a bow that I tied from the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, using a Glue Dot to adhere it and three Brights Candy Dots to the upper left corner of the card.  I finished the card by stamping the images from the Banner Blast stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 28), punching it out with the Banner Punch (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 28) and adhering it to the card front with SNAIL.

So Very Grateful 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the So Very Grateful images in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White panel.

The complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create the project is at the very bottom of this post.
