Alright, now on to my card share today.  I used the new Simple Stems and Petite Petals stamp sets as well as the Papillon Potpourri stamp set to create my card.  The Simple Stems stamp set has two flowers in it that coordinate with the Secret Garden Framelits die set, I love it when I can use a new stamp set with an existing tool in my collection!

My card design was inspired by the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 295.

Simple Stems - Stamp With Amy K

I started by tapping my Gumball Green ink pad on the bottom side of my Honeycomb Embossing Folder.  Then I placed a panel of Whisper White card stock inside and ran it through my Big Shot.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Gumball Green card stock panel, then to the Daffodil Delight card base with SNAIL.

Teeny Tiny Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel of Watercolor Wonder DSP to a Gumball Green panel, then adhered the layered panel to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Gumball Green ink on a Whisper White panel, punched it out with the Word Window Punch and adhered it to a Gumball Green panel.  I used the smallest Banners Framelits Die to cut out the sentiment and I adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

Papillon Potpourri - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Simple Stems stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Daffodil Delight ink on a Whisper White panel then cut it out with the Secret Garden Framelits Die.  I adhered the flower to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched five branches from Gumball Green card stock with the Bird Builder Punch and adhered them under the flower with SNAIL.

Simple Stems 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the small flower image from the Petite Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Island Indigo ink, punched it out with the Petite Petals Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Don’t forget that you can purchase the Petite Petals stamp set and punch in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

I stamped the butterfly image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) on Tangerine Tango card stock in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the butterfly out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card by adding a small Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of the Petite Petals flower.

Petite Petals- Stamp With Amy K

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the Petite Petals image in Daffodil Delight on a Whisper White panel.  Okay, I’m off to go place the share order, happy shopping!

  1. So gorgeous!! I just love the technique you did with the ink directly on the embossing folder. It really made your card design look amazing! Thanks for joining us for this week’s Monday Lunchtime Challenge at Technostamper!
