I used the new Peaceful Petals stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today. I made this card for the Stamping & Blogging SB38 Sketch Challenge that is going on this week.
I started by adhering a panel Watercolor Wonder DSP to a Smoky Slate card base with SNAIL. Then I cut a panel from the Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and layered it over a panel cut from Silver Foil Sheets using SNAIL under the stripes to adhere the panels together.
I used my Paper Snips to cut the flag end in the Vellum/Foil Sheet panel and I adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the image and sentiment from the Peaceful Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. Then I used my Pink Pirouette and So Saffron Stampin’ Write Markers to color the image. I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut the tag top on my stamped panel and adhered it over a Silver Foil Sheet cut just a little larger. I haven’t picked up the new Tag Topper Punches yet…I really “need” to get those!!
To create the little circle at the top of the tag, I punched a circle from the Silver Foil Sheet using the punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack punch, then I punched around that circle with my 1/2″ Circle Punch. I used my circle from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack to punch the top of the tag, then I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the thin Silver Foil Sheet circle to the tag. I made a bow by layering a piece of Blushing Bride 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon on itself and wrapping a piece of Silver Baker’s Twine around the center. I tied a small knot in the Baker’s Twine on the back of the bow, then adhered it with a Glue Dot to the tag. I finished the card front by adhering the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then adhering a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the lower right corner.
I stamped another image from the Peaceful Petals stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a Whisper White panel and I adhered it inside the card to complete it.
