Tic-Tac-Toe Washi Tape Valentine – Stampin’ Up!

I saw a fabulous little Valentine made by Jen Shults using Washi Tape to make a tic-tac-toe board.  You can see Jen’s card by clicking here.  Since I loved the design, I created a very similar card using Stampin’ Up! products to share with you today.  This card was really quick and fun to make!

Geometrical 1 - Stamp With Amy K

The colors for my card were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #177.

I started by adhering some of the Retro Fresh Designer Washi Tape in a tic-tac-toe board outline on a Whisper White panel.  I did have to play around a little with the tape to get it centered correctly, good thing that the Washi Tape is repositionable!!

Geometrical - Stampin' Up!

Then I stamped the five little hearts from the Language of Love stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Strawberry Slush ink on a Strawberry Slush panel and I punched them out with the matching Small Heart Punch.  I adhered them to the Whisper White panel with SNAIL.

Geometrical 2 - Stamp With Amy K

Then I inked up part of the sentiment from the Geometrical stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Wisteria Wonder ink and I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment in the empty boxes on the grid.  I adhered the stamped panel to a Coastal Cabana panel with SNAIL then I wrapped a strand of Natural Linen Thread around the panel and adhered it on the back with tape.

Itty Bitty Banners - Stamp With Amy K

I colored the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Whisper White panel, cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits Die and adhered it to a Wisteria Wonder Bitty Banners die cut with SNAIL.  I tied a bow through a Basic Metal Button with Natural Linen Thread and adhered it to the end of the sentiment with a Glue Dot.  Then adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card by adhering the layered panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Language of Love - Stamp With Amy K

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the little heart border from the Language of Love stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink on a Whisper White panel.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig again to help place the images.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
