I can’t believe that Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration 2014 kicks off in less than two days!!  I’m sharing another sneak peek at one of the stamp sets that you can earn for free with a $50 or greater order during Sale-a-bration.  This stamp set is called You’re Lovely and it matches the Deco Labels Collection Framelits, I love it when I can use new items with something that I’ve already got!  I also love that the flower image that I used for my card can fit several different sentiments from other stamp sets.  Almost all of the Petite Pairs sentiments fit with it and so does the sentiment that I used from the Six-Sided Sampler set.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 329.

I started by adhering a panel of Watercolor Wonder DSP to a Tangerine Tango card base with SNAIL.  I cut a small piece of the Watercolor Wonder DSP and a small piece of Daffodil Delight card stock with the end of the largest Deco Labels Collection Framelits Die, adhered them together, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Then I adhered a smaller panel of the Watercolor Wonder DSP to a strip of Tangerine Tango card stock.  I adhered a small strip of Tangerine Tango card stock over the center of the DSP, then added a strip of the Delicate Details Lace Tape.  I adhered the layered strip to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the You’re Lovely stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 28) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel, cut it out with the matching Deco Labels Collection Framelits Die and colored the flowers with my Stampin’ Write Markers.  Next, I colored part of the sentiment from the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement, stamped the sentiment on the die cut.  I layered the sentiment over a Tangerine Tango Deco Collection Framelits die cut that I’d embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 28), using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it.

I ran Sticky Strip around the back of the Tangerine Tango die cut and adhered Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon to it, gathering it as I moved around the edge.  Then I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button (on sale through Jan 27 for 25% off) with a piece of Tangerine Tango Baker’s Twine (from the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit) tied through it using a Glue Dot to adhere it.  I added three little Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Pearl Basic Jewels to complete the card front.

I stamped the border image from the You’re Lovely stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink across the bottom of a Whisper White panel inside the card, then colored the image with my Stampin’ Write Markers.
