I used the Label Love stamp set and Spiral Flower Originals Die from Stampin’ Up! to create my card share for today. I made this card for the Stamping & Blogging SB41 Sketch Challenge this week. Be sure to check out what the other Design Team Members made with this sketch too, links to their blogs are below.
I also created a quick photo tutorial for you about how I made the rolled roses. You can see it on my Tutorials page by clicking here.
I started by stamping the Hardwood image (wood mount and clear mount) on a Crumb Cake panel in Crumb Cake ink. Then I adhered the stamped panel to Coastal Cabana panel with SNAIL.
I adhered a sheet from the Fresh Prints DSP Stack to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL, then placed the layered DSP panel on the stamped panel with just a tiny bit of SNAIL to hold it in place. I turned the panel over and traced around the edge, removed the panel, then trimmed the DSP panel to fit and adhered it in place with SNAIL.
Next, I colored the sentiment from the Label Love stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Whisper White panel and punched it out with the matching Artisan Label Punch. I punched another Artisan Label Punch from Coastal Cabana card stock, cut it in half, slid the two pieces apart about 1/8″ and adhered them to the back of the sentiment with SNAIL. I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Don’t forget that you can purchase the Label Love stamp set and Artisan Label Punch in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).
I used the Spiral Flower Originals Die to create two rolled roses (you can see my tutorial for the rolled roses by clicking here) and I adhered the flowers to the card front with Glue Dots. I finished the card front by punching four branches with the Bird Builder Punch from Coastal Cabana card stock and adhering them with SNAIL.
I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of the leftover Fresh Prints DSP Stack to a Real Red strip, then to a Whisper White panel.
You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
