Starburst Sayings Thank You Card – Stampin’ Up!

I’m really liking the Starburst Sayings stamp set and matching Framelits from Stampin’ Up!  And I thought it would be perfect for this weeks Stamping & Blogging SB44 Sketch Challenge.  I also used a few pieces from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit that is sort-of hidden in the Occasions Catalog on page 31, it’s a great little kit that has pieces to make 15 cards!

Be sure to check out what the other Design Team Members made with this sketch too, links to their blogs are below.

Starburst Sayings 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I embossed a Baked Brown Sugar panel with the Arrows Embossing Folder, then adhered it to a Strawberry Slush card base with SNAIL.  Next, I layered a panel from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit over a panel of Whisper White and I adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I cut a panel of Pistachio Pudding card stock with the Starburst Framelits Die and layered a circle piece from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit over it, then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  I embossed a strip of Strawberry Slush card stock with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Starburst Sayings 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Starburst Sayings stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Baked Brown Sugar ink on a Whisper White panel, cut it out with the Starburst Framelits die, adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a circle that I’d cut from Silver Glimmer Paper with the Circles Collection Framelits die, then adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few random Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front to complete it.

Don’t forget that you can purchase the Starburst Sayings stamp set and matching Starburst Framelits Dies in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

Starburst Sayings 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Starburst Sayings stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink on a Whisper White panel to complete the inside of the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
