I used the Simply Stars and Make a Wish stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a clean and simple card to share today.  I started with the intention of making a masculine birthday card so I had to stop my self from adding the gold sequins to “girl” this up a little.  🙂

My card is loosely based on CAS(E) this Sketch #64 and on The Paper Players #183.

I colored the sentiment from the Make a Wish stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it on a Whisper White panel, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.  Then I stamped the big star from the Simply Stars stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Smoky Slate ink next to the sentiment.

I inked up the polka dot star from the Simply Stars stamp set with Smoky Slate ink, stamped it off once on scratch paper, then stamped it a few random times on the panel.  I repeated the process to add a few more stars.

I inked up and stamped off the little star image from the Banner Blast stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Smoky Slate ink and I stamped it around the larger star images.

I adhered the Whisper White stamped panel to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then adhered the panel to a Basic Gray card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched out three stars from the Gold Foil Sheets with the star punch from the Merry Minis Punch Pack and I adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the star images from the Simply Stars and Banner Blast stamp sets inside the card on a Whisper White panel as well.
