I used the Starburst Sayings stamp set and a little of the Sale-a-bration exclusive Sweet Sorbet DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Stamping & Blogging SB49 Sketch Challenge.  Don’t forget that Sale-a-bration is ending in a little over 5 days, the fantastic free items with every $50 in merchandise are ending on March 31!

I started by adhering a panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-a-bration Item) to a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with SNAIL.  I adhered a smaller panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP to a smaller panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I added three banner strips of Sweet Sorbet DSP that I’d punched with my Hexagon Punch to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment image from the Starburst Sayings stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I colored the image with my Stampin’ Write Markers and cut it out with the matching Starburst Framelits Die.

I adhered the sentiment  to a circle that I’d cut from Sahara Sand card stock with a Circles Collection Framelits Die.  I adhered the layered sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals  to a Crisp Cantaloupe circle that I’d also cut with the Circles Collection Framelits Die, then to the card front with SNAIL.

I adhered a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with a Glue Dot to the card front, then tied a small bow from the Baker’s Twine in the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (Sale-a-bration Item) and adhered it to the button with a rolled up a Glue Dot.  I finished the card front by coloring two Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a black Sharpie Marker and adhering them near the button.

 I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of Sweet Sorbet DSP to a strip of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then to a Whisper White panel.
