I used the Hostess exclusive stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Express Yourself to create my card to share today.  I guess I’ve been in a metallic mood for the past few days.  🙂  My card design was inspired by Retrosketeches #107.

I started by cutting a circle from a Midnight Muse panel with one of my Circles Collection Framelits Dies.  Then I placed the star from the Circle Card Thinlits die set on the panel and I ran it back through the Big Shot three times, moving the star to a different location with each pass.

I embossed the Midnight Muse panel with the Chevron Embossing Folder and adhered it with SNAIL to a panel cut from the Gold Foil Sheets.  I punched five stars from Midnight Muse card stock with the punch from the Merry Minis Punch Pack and adhered them to the Gold Foil Sheet panel with SNAIL.  Then I cut four stars with the die from the Circle Card Thinlits die set and adhered them to the panel as well.

I adhered a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim and thee of the little star punch outs from the Good as Gold Card Kit (Sale-a-bration Item), using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them.  Then I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment from the Express Yourself stamp set (hostess only – wood mount and clear mount) in Midnight Muse ink on a Whisper White card base and I adhered the die cut panel above the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a panel of Whisper White card stock to a panel of the Gold Foil Sheets to complete the inside of the card.

Since this is a 5″ x 5″ card, I used my Envelope Punch Board and a sheet of Midnight Muse DSP from the 2012-14 In Color DSP Stacks paper to create a custom envelope that fits the card perfectly.
