Petite Petals, Hardwood, Simply Celebrate…One Card and an Ordering Special From Me – Stampin’ Up!

It actually took four Stampin’ Up! stamp sets:  Petite Petals, Hardwood, Simply Celebrate and Says It All to create this card.  I didn’t realize that I’d grabbed that many until I was cleaning up my mess after making the card!  🙂

Petite Petals - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Monday Lunchtime Sketch #308.

I started by stamping the Hardwood (wood mount and clear mount) image on a Sahara Sand panel in Sahara Sand ink.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Celebrate stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink over the Hardwood image, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.  I sprinkled the sentiment with Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Simply Celebrate 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig again to stamp the little arrow image from the Says It All stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Early Espresso Ink next to the sentiment.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL, then to a Coastal Cabana Card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Petite Petals 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Petite Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Real Red and Coastal Cabana inks on a Whisper White panel, punched them out with the matching Petite Petals Punch and adhered them with Glue Dots.  Then I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels and sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim (using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere) to the panel.

You can purchase the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

Simply Celebrate - Stamp With Amy K

I cut two strips from the Fresh Prints DSP Stack and punched the ends with the Hexagon Punch to create the banners.  I adhered the banners to the card front with SNAIL, then adhered a Naturals Designer Button with a Glue Dot after tying a piece of Gold Baker’s Twine through it.

Petite Petals 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a leftover strip of Fresh Prints DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card.  I adhered a Petite Petals flower with a Glue Dot that I’d stamped in Real Red ink and punched with the Petite Petals Punch.  I punched the center of the flower from Coastal Cabana card stock using one of the dots from the Cupcake Builder Punch and I adhered it with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. You have made me a believer in regard to the Hardwood background stamp. With your inspiration, I am using it more and more. Great card, Amy!

  2. Love your bright and happy colors today Amy! The hardwood looks fantastic with the Petite Petals and the tie in with the dsp. Another great card to CASE! Thank you for the ideas 🙂

  3. I am amazed that I did not buy this hardwood stamp yet, it is so pretty on every card I see it on I think boy do I want that stamp–I have the older one but it is not as nice. This card is so pretty, I love the little flowers on the edge. Great job, thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
