So Very Happy Sneak Peek – Stampin’ Up!

I pulled out a stamp set that I got when I attended the Stampin’ Up! Leadership event in January to make my card to share today.  The stamp set is called So Very Happy and it’s a new set from the 2014-15 Annual Catalog.  I thought that the Freshly Made Sketches #132 and Dynamic Duos #99 were the perfect challenges to show off this new stamp set!

The So Very Happy stamp set has several other cute images and nice sentiments, I’ve started a Pinterest Board with pins of cards that I’m finding from the 2014-15 Annual Catalog and you can see a few of the other images from this set on cards in that board, so head over there if you’d like a few more sneak peeks.  🙂

I started by stamping the background image from the So Very Happy stamp set (available June 2) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me line up the images as I stamped.  Then I colored the little hearts on the images with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to a Rich Razzleberry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

So Very Happy 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the So Very Happy stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel, colored the letters with my Rich Razzleberry Marker and cut it out with the smallest Banners Framelits Die.  I trimmed just a tiny bit off the top, bottom and right side of the banner, then adhered it with SNAIL to a banner that I’d cut with the same Banners Framelits Die from Rich Razzleberry card stock.  I used my Stampin’ Trimmer and Paper Snips and cut a banner from Basic Black card stock that was just a little bit bigger than the die cut and I adhered the layered die cuts to the Basic Black banner, then to the card front with SNAIL.

So Very Happy 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower image from the So Very Happy stamp set in VersaMark Ink twice on a Rich Razzleberry card stock panel, sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I punched one flower out with the Blossom Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I punched the center of the other flower with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch and I layered it over the larger image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched a heart from the Gold Foil Sheets with the Owl Builder Punch and adhered it with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card sentiment banner to finish the card front.

So Very Happy 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the So Very Grateful stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a Whisper White panel on the inside of the card.

  1. I’m having a hard time too! Thank goodness it looks like most of the ink will stay the same. So much change in one short SU year… happy & sad. Thanks Amy for showing us a preview of what’s to come 🙂
