When I saw the Stamping and Blogging Sketch this week, I thought that the On Film Framelits Dies from Stampin’ Up! would be a perfect fit. I added a little I Am Me DSP and the Hip Notes stamp set and my card came together fairly quickly. And I’ll apologize upfront for the long post, there are lots of great updates from Stampin’ Up! today (a retiring sale starting tomorrow, half of June Paper Pumpkin Kits and a joining special next week!!) so be sure to check them all out!
My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB56 Sketch.
I started by adhering a panel of I Am Me DSP (retiring June 4) to a Basic Gray card base with SNAIL. Then I adhered two strips of the I Am Me DSP to strips of Basic Gray card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.
I cut two panels of Basic Gray card stock with the On Film Framelits die and adhered them to panels of I Am Me DSP with SNAIL. I colored the sentiment from the Hip Notes stamp set with my Basic Gray and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on the DSP panel, then adhered the two panels to the card front with SNAIL.
I cut three cameras out with the On Film Framelits die from Pool Party, Tangerine Tango and Real Red card stock. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched three little circles from Silver Foil Sheets with the Owl Builder Punch and I adhered them to the lenses of the cameras with Glue Dots. Then I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to each camera lens and to the dot in the sentiment to complete the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a Whisper White panel, then adhered a strip of Basic Gray card stock and I Am Me DSP to complete the inside of the card. I am forever making birthday cards and forgetting to send them! I think that I need about 10 of these!! 🙂
You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

So adorable! I love the paper and the little Camera cut outs!
Thanks so much!
Amy, Just another comment… Decided to read the details more carefully on how you constructed the card because I was curious about using the owl punch. The way you made the camera lens is absolute genius! Thanks for a great idea.
Thanks Melanie, super quick and easy. Just punch the circle and stick it on with a Glue Dot. 🙂
What a fun card you put together Amy! Love, love the camera lens detail – wow factor there 🙂 I can’t wait to case this one too!
Thanks Jill! It was lots of fun to make too! 🙂
