Bright Wildflower Meadow Hello & New Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up!

I pulled out a Stampin’ Up! stamp set that I haven’t used in awhile called Wildflower Meadow to create my card to share today.  This set has a matching embossing folder that I also used on this card. Wildflower Meadow - Stamp With Amy K My card design was inspired by the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 177. Screen Shot 2014-05-26 at 3.36.54 PM I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Garden DSP (retiring June 4) to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock, then to a Melon Mambo card base with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the image from the Wildflower Meadow stamp in Melon Mambo ink on a Whisper White panel. Wildflower Meadow 1 - Stamp With Amy K I trimmed the stamped panel down a little to make it the size that I wanted for my card, adhered it to a Melon Mambo card stock panel, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I inked up the Wildflower Meadow image again in Daffodil Delight ink and stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I trimmed the panel down to the size that I needed then embossed it with the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL. Wildflower Meadow 3 - Stamp With Amy K I stamped the flower image from the Flower Shop stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Daffodil Delight card stock panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I repeated that process with the image from the Petite Petals stamp set on Melon Mambo card stock, punching it out with the Petite Petals Punch.  And again with the image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  I adhered the punches to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Let’s talk about bundles for a second… Did you know that you can purchase the Wildflower Meadow stamp set and Embossing Folder as a bundle and save 15% through June 4 (while supplies last)?  You can also the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy Punch in a bundle and save 15% through June 4 (while supplies last).  And the Petite Petals stamp set and Petite Petals Punch are also available in a bundle at 15% off through June 1.  All of these items will be available in the new catalog, but the bundle pricing is ending so be sure to get yours before the discount goes away! Wildflower Meadow 2- Stamp With Amy K I stamped the sentiment from the Four You stamps set in Melon Mambo ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the second Banners Framelits die.  I trimmed just a bit off the top, bottom and left side, adhered it to a Banners Framelits die cut from Melon Mambo card stock (cut with the same Framelit as the Whisper White banner), then adhered the layered banners to the card front with SNAIL.  I added Pearl Basic Jewels to the centers of the Daffodil Delight stamped flowers and under the sentiment to complete the card. Petite Petals - Stamp With Amy K I stamped the images from the Petite Petals and Flower Shop stamp sets again in Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card. You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. Such a beautifully bright card! This will definitely bring a smile to who receives it. I love all the different elements/techniques that you used to bring this card together. Thanks for the inspiration and the work that you did to make this card pop 🙂 I really appreciate the instructions that you include so that I can try to replicate this, they help so much. One of the many reasons I love your blog!
