I’ve only got one little sneak peek from the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog on this card…I tried really hard not to add any, but I couldn’t help myself! I used the Beautiful Bunch and Bitty Banners stamp sets and a few Frosted Sequins to create my card to share today.
It’s Tuesday so that means that it’s time for another Try Stampin’ on Tuesday sketch challenge. My card design was inspired by Try Stampin’ on Tuesday #180. Be sure to stop by the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday blog to see what the other design team members created with this sketch.
The colors for my card were inspired by The Paper Players #208.
I started by adhering strips of Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and Hello Honey DSP (from the 2014-16 In Color and Subtles DSP Stacks) to a Blushing Bride card stock panel with SNAIL and I adhered the panel to a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a panel of Basic Gray card stock with one of the Window Frames Collection Framelits dies, then I used the square embossing folder from the Fun Frames Embossing Folder set and I embossed the die cut. I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the background flower images from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on a Whisper White panel, then I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the shaded flower image over it in Calypso Coral ink. I punched the flowers out with the matching Fun Flower Punch, adhered them together with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower image from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set again in Hello Honey ink on a Hello Honey card stock panel and I punched it out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. I colored the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set with my Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Markers, cut it out with the matching Bitty Banners Framelits Die and adhered it to the flower with SNAIL. Then I adhered the punched flower center over the banner sentiment with SNAIL.
I tied a piece of Basic Gray Baker’s Twine through a Calypso Coral button from the Subtles Designer Button pack and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot. Then I added three of the sequins from the Frosted Sequins pack (available Aug 28), using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them.
I stamped the flower images from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set again on a Whisper White panel (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement) on the inside of the card.
