Truly Grateful for Stamping and Blogging – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Truly Grateful stamp set and some of the new Color Me Autumn DSP (from the upcoming Holiday Catalog) from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging SB68 sketch this week.  Be sure to check out the links below to see what the other design team members have created with this sketch too!

Truly Grateful - Stamp With Amy K

I started by adhering two strips of Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape (available Aug 28) around a panel of Color Me Autumn DSP (available Aug 28).  I adhered the DSP to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped Linen Thread around the panel three times and tied a little knot.

I adhered the layered DSP panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then started working on the focal panel.  I inked up the woodgrain image from the Truly Grateful stamp set in Soft Suede ink, stamped it off on scrap paper twice, then stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I repeated the process, stamping the second image below the first one since I wanted a panel that was a little longer than the stamped image.

Then I stamped the image of the wheat in StazOn Jet Black ink over the woodgrain background and I colored the image with my Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Markers.  I wrapped another piece of the Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape around the panel, then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment from the Truly Grateful stamp set in Soft Suede ink across the panel.

I added a Cajun Craze Candy Dot from the Regals Candy Dots pack next to the sentiment, adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a little leftover DSP to a strip of Soft Suede card stock, then to a Whisper White card stock panel on the inside of the card.

  1. I love the way you made the focal point pop right off the page! The ribbon around it looks so real the way you colored it. Nicely done!

  2. Oh my goodness Amy, this card rocks! I LOVE everything about it from the washi tape, dsp, and your gorgeous stamping and shading 🙂 I’m so going to make this!

  3. For one we did not use the same products! I love your design and the sentiment is perfect, great card Amy xx
